New Todd Reed Jewelry!

We have a huge selection of Todd Reed jewelry available currently on Artfully Elegant. With more options than we even have in the gallery, we're bound to have the piece you're searching for. We have a great relationship with everyone over at Todd Reed, so if there's a ring or necklace we don't carry, we'd be happy to get it for you. If you're interested in commissioning a special piece, we can do that too! Check out the last photo below to see a recently commissioned engagement ring. It's gorgeous!

Ring 703 has always been a personal favorite of mine. My favorite rings and jewelry from Todd Reed are the ones that combine the different types of diamonds that Todd uses: raw cubes, rose cuts, colored, etc. Ring 703 features a gorgeous yellow center stone surrounded by white brilliant cuts. The band features Todd's signature raw cubes. When I get my Todd Reed ring someday, it will definitely need to have raw cubes in it. Even though Todd has branched out beyond the raw cube, he never forgets it - it still pops up in the majority of his designs.

Looking for a great pair of earrings from Todd Reed? Try Earrings 631. These delicate hoops hang from 18k yellow gold french wire and have a combination of raw and rosecut diamonds. The hoop itself is sterling silver that has been darkened with patina. If wires aren't your thing, these can also be made with a post. That's one of the best things about Todd's work - changes can be made to your specification. Want the earrings with a post? Done. Want the ring in palladium? Done. Want a different stone? Done. Where else can you find jewelry so versatile?

Here's a great example of custom work created by Todd and his team. Our client came to us with a request - he wanted a non-traditional engagement ring for his girlfriend, soon to be his fiance. Starting with the design for ring 660, he arrived at the ring pictured below. His only specifications were to remove the outer ring of stones and have it entirely in palladium. I think the final product is amazing and the most unique engagement ring I've seen in quite awhile! That's a 10+ carat raw diamond set in palladium. He proposed on a glacier in Montana, so it's the perfect natural ring for such a natural setting.

Just a quick reminder that tomorrow is First Friday on Bethlehem's Southside! New jewelry keeps rolling in

With the massive amount of new jewelry we've purchased recently, a week like this was to be expected. New work from Veto and Ananda Khalsa arrived on Friday just in time to go out for that night's First Friday opening (more on that later). Saturday brought new work from Vinosus. One of two recent orders from Todd Reed arrived on Tuesday and then new work from Tivi came today! It has been nothing but jewelry for Rori - from taking photos of all the work, pricing information, and then rearranging the cases to fit everything - getting everything set up can be a bit of process. Check out some of the highlights below, but also take a peek at the portfolio pages to see all of their new work!

Our first purchase from Veto included this ring, but it was promptly snatched up by Ranjeet's lovely wife, Neha. With our second order, we ordered another one, as well as some of their other designs in stainless steel and pearls for women. Most of our current Veto rings are aimed at men, but with this order we decided to branch out to their women's line as well. The ring pictured at left is as striking in person as it is in the picture.

Since I was not at the Philly show in February, the first time I saw Ananda's work in person was on Friday when it arrived at the gallery. Let me tell you that is unbelievably beautiful. Each piece has its own unique, handpainted image. Right now, my personal favorite is the Sparrow Mandala Necklace, but I'm also seriously eyeing up the Autumn Maple Necklace pictured at left. Ananda's paintings are delicate images that serve as the perfect compliment to her delicate, handmade jewelry.

Vinosus' jewelry never dissappoints and this order was no different. The great thing about all of Vinosus' jewelry is it's lightweight, completely wearable, and super affordable. I think my favorite new piece are the Origami Earrings. I never usually find myself drawn towards the mixed metal look - I tend to prefer either all silver or all gold, not both - but these earrings are so delicate and move nicely. The combination of gold and silver is a nice touch to the innovative design of these earrings. Check out the Kite earrings at right for Vinosus' take on something in all silver.

Everytime something arrives from Boulder from Todd Reed I get a little excited. There's something about having thousands of dollars worth of diamonds on your hand that would get any girl excited. I will admit to sporting this ring for a good portion of my time at the gallery yesterday before it went into the case with the rest of them. I'm sure if you stop by on a Saturday you'll find me admiring it and taking out for a while, just to test it out ;). In all seriousness, the ring is absolutely gorgeous. With almost 6 total carats worth of rose-cut and raw diamond cubes, this ring would make anyone feel like a million bucks. Todd has said that this is one of their most popular styles and it's easy to see why. It is different from every angle, making it one of their most versatile designs. Many of the rings from this order can be combined with other styles to create the perfect stacking combination. Check out the example above and Todd's portfolio page to see more options we've created, plus all the new styles.

The guys from Tivi are reverting back to their original design concept: furniture, design, and interiors. They're slowly phasing out their jewelry, but before that happens we wanted to snatch a bunch of it up. Their jewelry is made from sustainable wood, like ebony and walnut, and some designs incorporate stainless steel. Their necklaces and earrings are great for women, but they also have some great cufflinks and rings for men (like the one at right). Make sure to get some before it's all gone!

With still more jewelry on the way from Kathy Bransfield, Martha Sullivan, the Barber's Daughter, Angela Duffin, Belle Brooke, and the engagement style rings from Todd Reed, look for another post like this sometime soon!

More new jewelry!

We have been on a jewelry kick at the gallery lately. We can't help it! It's all so unique and we really feel like it's the perfect addition to our traditional wall art and sculpture in the gallery. Besides, who doesn't love jewelry?

One of our newest jewelry designers is Veto. Based out of Luzern, Switzerland, the jewelry is all stainless steel with diamond, pearl, and semi-precious stone accents. Much of the jewelry has an architectural feel to it, like the ring at left, with it's delicate swoop and floating pearl. Veto has both men's and women's designs, with most of its rings ranging from $80 to $250. We've placed another order, so look for many new rings in the coming weeks.

Vinosus has long been a favorite of ours and we've sold a good bit of it recently, so it was time for another order. Artists Brit-Simone Sutter and Marty Kneeland work together in their Tacoma, Washington studio to create fine jewelry in sterling silver, gold, pearls, and semi-precious stones. Much of their jewelry combines silver and gold, which is always has an elegant, classy feel to it. We've also picked up some newer work in their classic, brushed sterling silver line. Look for the Nautilus earrings, at right, to join our collection of new Vinosus jewelry in the next 1 to 2 weeks.

We've also placed another order with perennial Monsoon favorite Todd Reed. We've added on to our recent order at the Philly show, this time adding 3 rings that could be used as unique engagement rings. This is new territory for Monsoon. While we've always had work with traditional, cut diamonds, along with Todd's raw diamonds, we've never had anything that screams engagement ring like these new ones from Todd Reed. My personal favorite is pictured below. With a band in 18K yellow gold, patinated silver, plus almost 2 carats of rose-cut diamonds, this ring screams unique elegance. It's the perfect ring for the special woman in your life, or just a nice treat for yourself. The other 2 rings feature more rose-cut diamonds in a deep champagne color and another in a dark red. Todd's designs continue to amaze all of us here and I'm sure any visitor to our gallery or online shop. Look for them by the end of March.

Philadelphia Buyer's Market

On Thursday, Rori and Ranjeet headed to Philly for the Philadelphia Buyer's Market show. One of our favorite shows, it has tons of fine, handmade jewelry and exquisite blown glass. Despite leaving Philly with 2 parking tickets, the day was very successful. They were able to catch up with Todd and Andrea at Todd Reed. His raw diamonds set in sterling and 18K & 24K gold are unique and gorgeous. We've gotten a lot of new jewelry in from them lately, plus we ordered some more at the show, so check back soon for the new work!

Rori was able to stop and say hi to Elijah at Figs & Ginger. All of their nature-inspired jewelry is eco-friendly and contains at lease 50% recycled materials. We just got a lot of new jewelry in from them as well. I already had the Elliot Ring and now I'm the proud owner of the Circle Mountain Necklace too!

Ranjeet and Rori also made time to stop by and say hello to everyone at Vinosus, Sue Rosengard, and Angela Duffin. Look for new work by Angela Duffin in the next few weeks.

They were also able to pick up a brand new jewelry artist for the gallery, Kathy Bransfield. Kathy's jewelry features a combination of gold and silver. Most pieces have 2 parts: a covering that flips open to reveal a hand-stamped inspirational message or quote. Look for Kathy's work at the gallery soon. We'll announce its arrival here on the blog first!
